North Cascades National Park
North Cascades National Park is a wilderness park with high jagged peaks that intercept moisture laden winds, producing glaciers, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, lush forests, and a great diversity of plants and animals.
North Cascades NP was established October 2, 1968.
Total Acreage: 504,780, Federal: 504,633, Nonfederal:147.
North Cascades National Park is located in northern Washington State on the border with Canada slightly over 100 miles northeast of Seattle.
